Inauguration of a new site in Limoges to support growth and strengthen the Group's long-term regional presence
The IMA Group, a leading player in the French assistance sector, will inaugurate its new site in the heart of Limoges on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the renovated former Chénieux clinic. This opening marks an important milestone in the Group's development and is part of a deliberate growth strategy in France, based on the creation of sustainable, non-relocatable jobs and a strong commitment to the regions.
- With its new site in Limoges, the IMA Group aims to create 300 sustainable, non-relocatable jobs by 2027, mainly in the field of assistance services. More than 130 employees are already working there.
- The new offices are intended to strengthen assistance capabilities in response to the IMA Group's continued growth, improving customer relations and providing better support in increasingly frequent emergency situations (mobility, weather events, everyday crises).
- While continuing its international development, the IMA Group has opted for a model based on the local operation of its assistance activities. In France, this strategy is reflected in the strengthening of its locations, with sites in Niort, Rouen, and now Limoges, dedicated in particular to processing assistance requests within the country.
- Located in the heart of Limoges, on the site of the former Chénieux clinic, which has been completely renovated and expanded, the IMA Group's new premises represent 2,100 m² of new office space in the city center, close to public transportation and the university campus.
The inauguration of the Limoges site is a concrete illustration of our model and our convictions. We have chosen to invest in France, to create sustainable jobs in the regions and to strengthen our ability to support our beneficiaries with high standards and humanity. Limoges is not an opportunistic location: it is a structuring project, set to play a key role in our national organization and in the pursuit of our growth.
A location that supports sustained growth
The opening of the Limoges site responds to a continuous increase in the IMA Group's activity, in a context of multiplying emergency situations, increased mobility, and increasingly frequent climatic hazards.
In 2024, the IMA Group generated more than €1 billion in revenue, up 11% on the previous year. It now employs more than 6,000 people, mainly in France, and recruited nearly 650 permanent staff in 2024 alone.
The Limoges site strengthens the Group's national network, alongside the Rouen site and the historic headquarters in Niort, and is part of a sustainable development strategy. The goal is to reach 300 jobs by 2027, combining permanent jobs and seasonal recruitment to absorb peaks in activity related to mobility assistance.
Limoges, a strategic and territorial commitment
The choice of Limoges, the second largest city in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region after Bordeaux, was based on several attractive factors: the dynamic local economy, the presence of public services and a high-level university center, an attractive quality of life, and a pool of skilled labor. The support and mobilization of local stakeholders, particularly SELI, alongside the IMA Group, were also decisive factors in the choice of location.
By moving into a former urban wasteland, the IMA Group has also chosen to contribute to the revitalization of Limoges city center and to become a long-term part of the local ecosystem, working closely with the City and Limoges Métropole. The project thus benefits from the support of local public stakeholders and is based on partnerships with local employment and training stakeholders.
Local jobs for quality assistance
As the only assistance provider certified by “Service France Garanti,” the IMA Group operates all of its assistance activities for France from one of three sites: Niort, Rouen, or Limoges. Bucking the trend of outsourcing, the jobs created in Limoges are sustainable, cannot be outsourced, and are based on professions with high human value.
In Limoges, the IMA Group has opted for inclusive recruitment, open to all profiles, in contrast to overly restrictive selection practices. Each employee then undergoes five weeks of training to quickly acquire the skills necessary for the job of assistance officer.
Assistance officers intervene at times that are often critical for people, and their mission is not limited to taking calls. The assistance profession is based on listening, analyzing complex situations, and mobilizing concrete solutions in real time. The IMA Group's regional roots enable its teams to better understand the crisis situations experienced by beneficiaries and thus provide them with assistance based on proximity and empathy.
