IMA Protect launches its new standalone outdoor camera

An optimised deterrent solution designed to give you peace of mind

 

IMA Protect is expanding its range with a new camera designed to prevent break-ins. Combining technological innovation, ease of use and integration into a comprehensive remote surveillance ecosystem, this new device meets a key customer need in outdoor security: deterring intruders before a break-in even occurs.

 

Available from today, this new device is fully in line with IMA Protect’s promise: to offer reliable, accessible home protection backed by a service where support and a local presence make all the difference.

An outdoor camera designed to act as an effective deterrent

With this new camera, IMA Protect addresses the growing need to secure the area around the home. A genuine prevention tool, it aims to deter attempted break-ins at the very first sign of suspicious movement. Equipped with advanced detection technology, the camera distinguishes between relevant movements (human presence) and environmental disturbances (light, foliage, false movements), thereby minimising false alarms. 
 

In the event of a suspicious detection, the camera triggers a deterrent voice message, alerts the customer in real time and enables them to react immediately. Via the IMA Protect Video mobile app, they can access a range of features

  • View live footage.
  • Activate the siren.
  • Issue a voice warning.
  • Record and share footage.

The IMA Protect camera operates completely autonomously. Battery-powered and paired with an included solar panel, it requires no electrical connection. Its 4G connectivity, via an integrated SIM card, also eliminates the need for Wi-Fi, making it easy to install in areas away from the main house, such as a garage or outbuilding.

An innovation integrated into a comprehensive remote monitoring ecosystem

This new equipment reflects IMA Protect’s vision: to combine high-performance technology with high-quality personal support. Beyond the equipment itself, the brand offers a comprehensive remote monitoring service guaranteed as ‘AFRC* 100% French Customer Service’, provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by operators based in Nantes and Angers, who are able to analyse each situation and take the appropriate action in the event of an alert. 

The outdoor camera thus completes a suite of devices, all controllable via a dedicated mobile app. Like all IMA Protect equipment, it is available to rent and is installed by expert technicians, ensuring optimal configuration from the moment it is put into service.
