IMH attends Macif’s first housing day in Niort
In early June in Niort, Macif brought together the entire housing ecosystem for the first time for Housing Day. This major event, organized for Macif employees, brought together insurers, partners, and experts to discuss key issues facing the sector.
A day dedicated to the challenges of tomorrow’s housing
Featuring a series of presentations and cross-sector roundtable discussions, the event shed light on the major transformations taking place in the sector:
- sustainable housing
- reuse of materials
- impact of climate phenomena, particularly drought
These are all themes at the heart of evolving support models and policyholders’ expectations.
Partners committed to innovation and skill development
During the discussions, several partners shared their operational expertise. For example, our partner Ecorep/Secure highlighted the challenges associated with repairing window and door frames and developing the skills of service provider networks.
In a topic of current interest, IMH and COMUS presented a pilot project on the use of paints containing recycled materials for post-disaster repairs—a truly innovative approach.
Un village partenaires pour valoriser les savoir-faire terrain
Highlight of the day: a village featuring nearly 20 booths, dedicated to showcasing the sector’s solutions and innovations.
IMH coordinated the participation of several partners there, illustrating the diversity and complementary nature of its ecosystem:
- Les Gars des Eaux: leak detection
- WeatherMind: damage assessment using AI
- Tuita: drone-based roof inspection and AI-assisted estimates
- ADSS: repair of wood window and door frames
- Ecorep / Secure: repair of PVC and aluminum window and door frames
- IMA Protect: presentation of remote monitoring solutions
The IMH teams rounded out the event, answering questions about the teams’ expertise, their advisory role with beneficiaries, and the management of the network.
A group working to improve housing conditions
This event highlights the collective momentum driving changes in practices, enhancing service quality, and supporting the sector’s transitions (environmental, technological, and business-related).
Supported by IMH, this momentum is underpinned by an ecosystem of committed and complementary partners working to deliver increasingly sustainable, innovative, and effective solutions for policyholders.
