IMA PROTECT launches ‘Remote Monitoring PLUS+’
To improve home safety and help manage energy consumption.
With the launch of the ‘Remote Monitoring PLUS+’ option, IMA PROTECT now enables its subscribers to integrate connected devices from well-known brands, such as Legrand and Netatmo – French leaders in the smart home sector – into their alarm systems. As the first remote monitoring provider to offer this service, IMA PROTECT is counting on this innovation to enhance its customers’ security and help them manage their energy consumption.
With ‘La Télésurveillance PLUS+’, IMA PROTECT offers its users customisable scenarios that can be set up in just a few clicks via their mobile app to automate home security. With a single tap, the alarm system is activated and the connected cameras switch on automatically, whether inside or outside the home. The presence simulation feature is also easy to use, even for beginners.
Smart scenarios also enable customers to reduce their energy consumption by combining products such as smart plugs and thermostats. When the user leaves the house and activates the security system, the indoor temperature is lowered and energy-intensive devices, such as screens left on standby, switch off automatically. These features not only help reduce energy costs but also help mitigate domestic risks. With ‘La Télésurveillance PLUS+’, customers can be sure that the power sockets they have selected are switched off, even if they have left home in a hurry.
Thanks to the launch of this partnership with leading smart home brands, the alarm control panel becomes the central hub for multi-brand products, enabling them to work together. This innovation is particularly timely following a year in 2022 marked by a sharp rise in burglaries (211,800 primary and secondary residences in 2022, an 11% increase compared to 2021*), further exacerbating the already high sense of insecurity among the French public. At the same time, prices for electricity, gas and other fuels have risen sharply, putting a strain on households’ purchasing power.
IMA PROTECT aims to continuously enhance the features and services made possible by ‘La Télésurveillance PLUS+’. By offering new scenarios managed from a single interface, the IMA PROTECT mobile app is designed to simplify its customers’ daily lives by supporting new ways of using the service.
