The IMA Group has been awarded the contract for health and funeral services for the Mutualia Group

Following a competitive bidding process, the Mutualia Group has selected the IMA Group to provide health and funeral assistance to 340,000 of its beneficiaries, primarily professionals in the agricultural sector and seniors. This partnership highlights IMA’s commercial momentum in its Health and Well-being business, as well as a shared commitment to providing compassionate assistance solutions rooted in local communities.

A strategic partnership based on shared values

The IMA Group was selected by the Mutualia Group for the strength of its business model, the breadth of its coverage, and its ability to support policyholders during key moments in their lives.

Mutualia’s assistance services will be operated from IMA’s historic site in Niort. This structure ensures localized support, grounded in a deep understanding of local realities. IMA’s assistance representatives are highly qualified and support policyholders through an approach rooted in active listening and empathy.

For the IMA Group, this contract marks a pivotal milestone. It demonstrates the Group’s commitment to strengthening its position alongside the everyday stakeholders who are essential to the vitality of local communities. Mutualia thus becomes the Group’s first major client in the agricultural sector.

Healthcare assistance designed to support you through life’s milestones

The IMA Group is a leader in healthcare assistance. By anticipating situations of vulnerability and serving as a pillar of support during times of crisis, the Group carries out a mission of providing compassionate and responsible care throughout the country, striving to address the challenges of demographic and epidemiological change.

As part of this partnership, IMA provides Mutualia policyholders with comprehensive healthcare assistance, available from the moment they enroll, particularly in the event of unexpected or scheduled hospitalization.

The services provided include, in particular:

  • Personalized social counseling, provided through the IMA Group’s Interdisciplinary Medical-Social Platform, which consists of a team (social workers, nurses, occupational therapists) responsible for identifying potential issues and assessing needs, ensuring smooth care pathways, and guiding clients toward appropriate solutions;
  • Home care assistance for up to 15 hours over 10 days;
  • Local services (delivery of medications, groceries, meals, etc.).

In addition to these benefits, they will also be able to take advantage of the Deuxiemeavis.fr service, with which the IMA Group has been collaborating since 2018. This service allows users to obtain, within seven days, a second medical opinion from leading specialists in their field, enabling them to make informed decisions in often complex medical situations. This service provides access to the expertise of more than 500 medical experts and covers more than 800 medical conditions.

Mutualia’s decision confirms the effectiveness of our “Health and Well-being” support model, which is based on a comprehensive approach to health needs, local presence, and attentive listening. It reflects our ongoing commitment to the everyday people who bring our communities to life, particularly those in the agricultural sector, who are essential to the country’s social and economic balance.
Together with Mutualia, we are committed to supporting more than 340,000 beneficiaries during times of vulnerability by providing them with concrete, accessible solutions tailored to their specific circumstances. This initiative builds on our mutualist commitment to social utility and deep community roots.

The decision by the mutual insurance companies affiliated with the Mutualia Group to select IMA as the assistance provider for our Health and Funeral insurance plans, effective January 1, 2026, was a clear choice and was unanimously approved. IMA successfully met the exacting requirements of the specifications in the call for bids launched last June by offering enhanced coverage and high-value-added supplementary services, such as the Second Opinion service, while maintaining competitive pricing.
Beyond the quality of its offer, we have chosen a partner with whom we share common mutualist values: closeness to our members, a commitment to service quality, and, more than ever, a constant focus on the human element.
